You want to build a list from people who actually WANT to be part of it…versus collecting emails and then annoying people and having them opt-out anyways.

A good way to entice people to join your list is to provide them with valuable information in exchange, have a giveaway, or hold a contest. As soon as you give some INCENTIVE, you will see results and soon you will have a quality email list of people who actually care about your business, know about your business, and most importantly, know that they originally joined your list WILLINGLY. Also, think quality over quantity.
